Free Download Software Remote Desktop New - Anyplace Control displays a remote desktop in separate windows remote computer screen. These are the main interfaces to interact with a remote computer, and allow you to control a PC directly from the keyboard and mouse. You can also open several of these windows at once – allowing you to control more than one computer at a time. These software windows could be resized, and minimized as a conventional Windows.
Remote Desktop Operating Modes
There are two operating modes available for working with a remote PC, and the two can be toggled between:
- View Mode – allows you to watch a PC and see everything a user is doing in real-time.
- Control Mode – allows you to control a PC with your keyboard and mouse.
Remote Desktop Displaying Modes
There are two ways a remote desktop can be presented on your screen:
- Full-Screen – allows you to see a remote desktop in exactly the same dimensions as conventional screen.
- Window – allows you to see the remote desktop in a window, which can be resized and minimized as necessary.
‘Scale to Fit’ and ‘Autoscroll’ Features
If a remote computer’s physical screen size is larger than your own you can use the ‘Scale to Fit’ option to see a reduced version of it on your screen, or can use scrollbars to see it in its real size.
Using the ‘Autoscroll’ feature with the latter of these options allows you to move around the full-size desktop without manually operating any scrollbars – the image will be automatically moved, when your mouse reaches the window’s limits.
Supports Different Resolutions & Color Depths
Anyplace Control supports all screen resolutions with color depths ranging from 4 to 32 bits, and by default applies the color depth which offers the highest refresh rate on the LAN. You can manually change this to increase your operating speed when using remote access on a low-bandwidth network.
Toolbar for ‘Remote Screen’ Window
The ‘Remote Screen’ window contains a toolbar which offers immediate access to the most frequently used actions needed for remote control such as changing color depth, sending special keystrokes, transferring clipboard content between local and remote computers, etc.
